Kynance Cove

Known for it’s rugged coastline and breathtaking beaches, it’s no surprise that Kynance Cove was a chosen filming location! Actors for the show, including John Lithgow as Professor Dumbledore, have been spotted filming scenes both along the clifftops of Kynance looking out over the beach and down on the beach itself.

What to look out for: Scenes will show the white sandy beaches tucked amongst multiple rock formations each with a distinctive green Serpentine hue.

Where to go: Head to the National Trust car park (used as a base for all the filming equipment!) and take the coast path down to the beach. Not many people can say they walked along the same sands as Dumbledore!

Cadgwith

Cadgwith, another location along the Lizard Peninsula is a quintessential Cornish Fishing village full of charm and character. It’s also another reported filming location for the new Harry Potter! This time actor Dominic McLaughlin has been spotted in his new role as Harry Potter.

What to look out for: A small beach surrounded by cottages, possibly including a scene with Harry near a car on the slipway!

Where to go: To get the full experience head to the Cadgwith Cove Inn where some scenes were filmed as well as the beach of course!
