Spacious luxury one bedroomed self-catering accommodation for couples to relax

This luxury retreat, once the apple store for the farm, provides a modern feel in a very private setting. Located in a great place very close to Padstow and Doc Martin's Port Isaac

Pippins is the annexe to Hendra Farmhouse. We provided all the general amenities for you. We have also recently included super fast Wifi. The property has a sun room and private decking with a gas Weber BBQ. Free car parking and bike storage.

Set in a quiet rural location (rural not remote) just off the main Atlantic Highway, we are ideally based to explore the whole of Cornwall with lots to do locally as well. Visit the shops at Wadebridge, play golf at one of the many local highly acclaimed clubs or the 9 hole course next door, surf at Polzeath/Daymer or try sailing and water-skiing in Rock, surfing, kayaking and coasteering at Port Quinn and Port Gaverne. Tintagel (King Arthur's castle) and Trebarwith Strand (beach) are also worth a visit 10 miles north. Wadebridge is also on the Camel trail (Padstow to Bodmin) so either bring your bikes or hire some here or even walk it. Bodmin Moor and the South-West coastal path also offer many varied walks. The Eden Project is just 18 miles away and Charlestown, the home of the Tall Ships, just a bit further.

Golfing at St Kew (9 Holes) is next door with St Enodoc and other courses within a short drive.

Guests can enjoy the private lounge, sun room and patio, which overlook the surrounding grounds that provide a foreground to the views out across open countryside to St Endellion Church. The sitting-room has welcoming decor in relaxing neutral tones, with under-floor heating throughout, pretty furniture in the sitting-area and sun room with luxury bedroom with king size bed. All the rooms are light and airy and guests will enjoy its contemporary restful ambience. As from 25th July 2014 a kitchen has been installed to allow this to be let as self- catering accommodation

Walk along the coastal paths or beaches and breath in the fresh sea air. For sightseeing, why not visit the quaint fishing ports of Padstow (Rick Stein), Port Isaac (Doc Martin) or Boscastle. You can even park in Rock and catch the ferry to Padstow. Surrounding us are five local pubs (between 1 and 4 miles) that serve excellent food, or head into Rock/Padstow for a choice of restaurants, some Michelin rated - but during the high season you will need to book these before you come! Nathan outlaw has now moved to Port Isaac - 15 minutes away!

This Farmhouse is a fantastic place to stay! Why? The rustic old farmhouse has been re-furbished to the finest quality. It's very light and bright, with lovely, traditional sash windows. The conservatory has sun in the morning and light until end of the day. The kitchen has all you need if you fancy being cosy and staying in. The bedroom is huge, the bed is immensely comfortable, it's top quality and you will surely have the best nights sleep. The bathroom is a work of art. It's beautiful. Just relax and have a chill with a glass of wine in the bath. It's divine.
This cottage is perfect for a couple of friends, or a romantic retreat away from the big smoke. It's a 10 min drive from Port Isaac, an adorable little village. You can drive down in the morning to buy fresh fish for your dinner that night. The farmhouse is also ideally situated if you wish travel further up or down the coast. The hosts are so welcoming, what lovely people. A pleasure to have met them both. They couldn't have been more helpful...if we needed anything at all they obliged and then they left us to our own devices, so you have up-most privacy staying here. Cornwall is stunning, what a pretty part of the world. I can't wait to go back and stay in this cottage near Port Isaac again one day.
