Our holiday apartments in St Ives are in and around a town famous for its pristine beaches, clean air and family friendly environment. Rated as one of the 10 best beaches in Europe by TripAdvisor, St Ives really is a near-tropical apartment holiday paradise on UK shores.

Famously inspiring, St Ives has played home to countless famous artists and sculptors, including J M W Turner and Henry Moore; and to this day the subtropical vegetation, bright open spaces and bohemian atmosphere continue to draw and inspire sculptors, artists and poets from all over the UK and the world. Many of St Ives stunning holiday apartments to rent have witnessed great works of creativity inside their walls. This ever evolving art history can be appreciated at many of the galleries and exhibitions that bring life to St Ives’ historic buildings, including one of only four Tate galleries in the world. Many a pint has been enjoyed in the town’s ancient, low-ceiling pubs while enjoying open-mic poetry and music from local artists.

Benefiting from the mildest climate in the UK, the beach at St Ives and those close by a Porthminster, Porthmeor, Harbour Beach and Porthgwidden, look like they could have been transplanted for your apartment holiday in St Ives from some far flung tropical island. Exploring the ancient narrow cobbled streets of the town, it can also feel like you just stepped inside a romantic novel as ancient fishing cottages and unique homes bring your imagination to life.

With great surf and Porthminster Beach and even in St Ives Bay when the swell is right, the mild water is a great place to be out enjoying yourself. Famously warm and sunny, be sure to bring your sun screen for your apartment holiday in St Ives.

The harbour in St Ives remains an active, working harbor and it’s possible to join the local captains here on a day out sightseeing around Godrevy Lighthouse (said to be the inspiration for Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse'), visiting the local seal colony on Seal Island, or fishing on a real Cornish fishing boat. The local seafood is also on offer in town at a wide range of fantastic restaurants and there are countless venues from which to sit and enjoy the view of the stunning bay.

Whatever holiday lettings or rental apartment in St Ives you choose, you may want to arrive there on the stunning train line from St Erth to St Ives, watching fishing boats putter around the golden sandy bays as you make your way into the dream Cornish holiday destination of St Ives.

The accommodation was beautifully furnished with all mod cons. Spotlessly clean with all the little touches that made it feel like a home from home. Beds were very comfortable so a good night's sleep every night (not usual for me when away from home!) Perfect location for exploring the area by car and a dedicated car parking space. A short walk to the bus stop and train station for a short ride into St Ives with no worry about parking. For walkers, just a short walk to the coastal path and/or down to Carbis Bay beach. The beach had all the facilities you need to make a day of it but also perfect for a walk. (Not suitable for those unfit or with mobility issues - a steep climb back up!) Great restaurant close by (we had a delicious take away on our first night). Supermarket next door for self catering needs or a big Tesco a short walk/drive. Lots of restaurants in St Ives too. A lovely week - would highly recommend.

Could not fault the property, so clean, cosy and comfortable. Property is very well equipped and location was excellent, no worries about parking if you went out in the car as your spot is reserved. The owners are easy to contact by text if needed and responses are very friendly. The Info Pack that Ed & Zoe issue is fantastic.

Located centrally and conveniently. A pharmacy, a convenient store, and a excellent Unisex hairdresser two minutes walk away. Carbis Bay is walking distance from the apartment and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The apartment is a ten min drive to “Next” and “Marks and Spencer” Main chain supermarkets are all short distances. Over the week we managed to visit Lands end, The Lizard point, Looe, all reasonably accessible. The apartment itself well what can I say.. Just a dream comfortable seating and dining area in the lounge, extremely comfortable beds with tv in both bedrooms! Most strikingly was the cleanliness, we’ve stayed in lots of self catering over the years, and this apartment was by far the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was very well equipped also, anything we needed it was there. Zoe and Ed were excellent pleasant and helpful hosts we couldn’t have wished for better. And look forward to another stay..
