Seafarers is a former HM Coastguard cottage, accommodating four guests, at the end of a private road.
With outstanding sea views, Seafarers is a delightful holiday home overlooking the historical working fishing village of Mevagissey. Just a few minutes from the harbour, pubs, galleries, shops and restaurants, this refurbished, comfortable house provides the perfect base to explore the tiny streets of this Cornish gem.
In early 2019 the garden was redesigned, making the best use of its south facing, elevated site, with far-reaching views across St Austell Bay. Tucked away, granite steps lead to tiered terraces, an idyllic sun trap, created solely for relaxation and enjoyment. Gently unwind on one of the recliners, or savour those lazy summer al fresco lunches. However, if you prefer to remain in shade, The Lookout is the perfect sanctuary to retreat to, providing both luxury and seclusion.
It is equipped to a high standard, providing you with the comfort of home, without losing any of its natural charm. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen, luxurious bedding and comfortable leather recliners. Superfast WiFi broadband combined with Smart televisions provide catch up services and unlimited internet access.
Bookings are generally for 7 days from Fridays. Shorter stays can be accommodated at different times of year - if interested please get in touch and we will try to fit you in.
Cool Places recommends Seafarers as one of the best self catering places to stay in Britain.
