Our first visit and it was lovely. Modern and very clean dog- and family-friendly accommodation. The house was perfect for a family with an enclosed garden for the dog. The customer service is fantastic - from receiving a lovely warm welcome on arrival to a goody bag and a lovely goodbye on leaving. I think the reception ladies are called Lauren and Pariss and they are just so good at their job! There’s a great designated dog walk and lots of bins around. The only downside we found was that the Azura cafe bar was closed Saturday and Sunday which was 2 of 3 days of our stay but the 1 night we did manage to go, the staff were lovely there too. Had so much fun in the games room. Didn’t get chance to swim but both pools looked great. Would definitely recommend this place.

Area is lovely. Accommodation is very clean, modern and somewhere I would consider coming back to.

Pool is heated sufficiently, in fact it was warm. Same with the inside pool. My kids loved using it.

Games room is poor. Pool table cost £1 a game, football table is old and there's a 1960's bar billiard table (could have come from ebay) - again at a £1 a game. Small things, this is marketed as 5* - games room needs sorting and needs to be free.

Staff are excellent (well the two reception and 1 maintenance man we met)

Our boiler did no lt work so we were without heating for the week (immersion for water) Only cold 2 of the mornings.... so we used the oven!!

Excellent holiday, very well equipped house with great on site facilities including swimming pools, small gym, tennis courts and pool table. Restaurant onsite serves good food and also can arrange takeaways. Great location to explore Cornwall- 10minutes to beach on south coast and about 20mins to north beaches. Great mix of beaches and culture in close proximity- definitely recommend as a family holiday, including a dog!

My husband and I have just visited this cottage for a babymoon, or in other words our last couple-only holiday before our first baby arrives in November and we were super chuffed with our choice of destination!

The resort is a smallish holiday village of super nice, luxury accommodation just outside Truro. We were really impressed with the finish of our cottage. We stayed in a two bedroom property which featured one large master bedroom with ensuite and a twin bedroom, also with ensuite. Downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, sitting room and dining table - basically the cottages all look EXACTLY like the photos on Select Cornwall website which is great as so often you book somewhere only to be disappointed on arrival - not here! Really contemporary décor but comfortable too. Loads of space and even better loads of storage space for your all-weather English holiday wardrobe and accessories!

We ate in the on-site restaurant, Café Azur, on our first night and the food was delicious. Unfortunately during our stay the café was empty most of the time but the bar staff were welcoming and in no way made us feel like we needed to leave on the few times we did stop off for a drink etc.

All of the staff we met at the resort were super friendly and helpful. They would definitely be one of the big draws to return. The site also felt secure and safe. Every day staff post a 'what to do tomorrow' note through your door - we loved this as it gave a personal touch to the site and was just genuinely helpful as the list of things to do in Cornwall is endless!

Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool during our stay but it looked lovely. No other real amenities on site which didn't bother us as part of our holiday plan was simply to relax but those looking for lively night life, either on site or within walking distance would probably be disappointed.

We usually stay on the coast in Cornwall so being further in land was a novelty for us. We found the Valley ideally located for visits to Truro, Falmouth and Newquay and close to both The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We will definitely be back, if it wasn't for the likely upheaval of our impending arrival in the next 6 months I'd be looking to book another break for Spring time!
