Fantastic accommodation, great food & facilities, friendly & helpful staff. Excellent all round
The Valley accommodation is in an excellent location to visit the numerous tourist attractions in the area all within a half hour drive.
The cottage was great and the staff really helpful and polite.
The restaurant was a bit disappointing, although the food and staff were nice enough and the magic show highly entertaining they could have improved the kids menu by offering more flexibility and ensured they had good stock levels for busy nights. However when this was fed back to reception staff they apologised and offered a bottle of wine and chocolates for the poor experience and stated they had acted upon my feedback.
The Valleys put on great additional Halloween activities for the kids which were highly enjoyable for all.
The swimming pool and hot tub were fine and never very busy when we visited.
All in all a really good holiday and would like to return in the future
Accommodation 5 star . We thought for the amount you charged it was ok, top guality
We found the cottage itself to be lovely and it has WiFi. There was a games room where three out of the four games were to be paid for 50p. The reception team were very lovely and helpful.
There are walks from the resort, the resort is secure and gated, near by there is cycle hire ans stunning woodlands - The beaches are not far and the best in Cornwall in my opinion. We loved Falmouth, plus Truro (Cornwall's capital) was not far either.
St Michael's mount is stunning and recommend a Fal river trip as you can catch fish! Kids loved the whole experience. We had one grey day and used the pool onsite that day - It was quiet, the cafe was nest door with stunning food, only guests allowed and then less than a minute away was this stunning holiday cottage, large, roomy with a luxurious finish!
I will defiantly stay again
We have just spend a midweek break in November and it really lived up to our hopes.
The cottage was very, very clean & comfortable with everything we could need and more. It was warm, cosy and excellent quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a meal in café Azur which was excellent (posh fish & chips, totally unlike the offerings in fish & chip shops).
The resort is very peaceful and well located for visiting all the central and western areas of Cornwall within about an hours drive. Well worth a visit.
Room Tip: We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage which was lovely but I would think all the cottages are of a high standard.
