The most idyllic accommodation
The most wonderful location, accommodation and service.
We had a wonderful week at The Valley.
The food and amenities were amazing. Beautiful beaches and pubs were all in close distance. We are already looking to return.
When we left we were given a lovely goodie bag for our journey home.
We have stopped in 5 star accommodation all over the world and I would recommend The Valley to anyone.
Summer Trip to Cornwall
Booked a pet friendly gallery cottage through Voyage Prive and the experience was faultless from when we 1st booked right up to when we left. It’s the 1st time we’ve visited Cornwall, but we’re already looking at re-booking for next year. Loved the format of the cottage, having plenty of space inside, and lovely outdoor areas too. Even though the weather was hot & sunny all week the cottage thankfully remained cool at all times. Staff on-site were friendly and helpful at both reception and restaurant / bar. It was really well positioned for our trips out to St Mawes, St Agnes and other places we went to. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.
A hidden gem. The Valley is ideally situated as a base for visiting Cornwall. It is in a peaceful and secluded location, just outside Truro and offers spacious accomodation, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts etc.
Peaceful and Perfect!
We booked up for a quick Cornish break and were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was at The Valley. The accommodation was beautiful, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Loved the layout as the kitchen was on a mezzanine with a balcony overlooking the pool and countryside beyond. Great place to stay if you’re bringing a dog as plenty of woodland walks around the site. Normally my dog takes a couple days to settle into any holiday accommodation but she was settled almost immediately here. Dog basket, blankets, dog bowl etc all provided too. When you arrive you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but its actually a brilliant location as smack in the middle of Truro and Falmouth so not lots of travelling involved. A couple miles down the road is a ferry which costs £10 return to take you to the Roseland area which has stunning beaches and villages. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool, games room, tennis courts etc. In the village of Carnon Downs is a large Spar shop which sells everything so no need to eat out all the time. Feels safe and secure as the resort is gated which is a bonus.
Lovely family trip
We have absolutely loved our family stay here. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had a gorgeous countryside view. The indoor pool was lovely and warm and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Thank you the Valley
Fabulous
At least our third visit. Fabulous place to stay. The cottages are like home from home, located in a beautiful spot with lots of places to visit within a short drive, everything you might need is there and the staff are excellent. We cannot recommend it enough.
Perfection
Perfect in every way, super clean and well appointed and equipped accommodation. Staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Location, stunning, with great views. Highly recommended we will definetely be back!
Excellent
Have booked to re-visit. We love this place, the "cottages" are excellent and the staff are super good in all regards. Location is ideal mot get to lots of different types of place within 30 minutes drive.
Great for a family retreat.
It was our second time there, the staff is very helpful and welcoming making us feel very quickly at home. The pool facility is easy to book and the outdoor pool is very warm during the summer months. The restaurant on site is great when you don’t feel like cooking. Overall a gem of a place we will definitely be back.
Fantastic place! Its the second time we've stayed at The Valley and will definitely be back again. The cottages are amazing. Spacious, private and well-appointed. The location is also brilliant for getting to various locations around Cornwall. 10/10!
Cottage was modern and spotless perfect location overlooking the outdoor pool. Great location to get to everything cant wait to return
A lovely base to travel and see the sights of Cornwall. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the accommodation is superb, comfortable and has everything you could need. The dog treats and list of dog friendly places to go was a lovely touch. Our children (11 & 12) had a great time at the bushcraft with Helen. The Easter Egg hunt was great fun for them too! I left my laptop charger behind and it was posted back to me promptly. We will definitely be back again!
Five star holiday. Perfect in every way. Would definitely recommend. Extremely dog friendly. Favourite place to visit with our dog was Perranporth. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Great welcome, brilliantly equipped and clean house, welcome pack for the dog and fantastic recommendations about where to go each day. Would thoroughly recommend for a great relaxing break.
We're back at this cottage AGAIN. We're here for 10 nights (tonight is night 7). The highlight so far was yesterday. Children were invited to carve pumpkins and make/decorate halloween cakes. Then they ran off into the woods for a treasure hunt and trick or treated round all the cottages (guests left lit pumpkins outside if they were happy to be called on - most were and it looked lovely). Finally it was marshmallows and storytelling around a campfire. This is the kind of holiday that your children will really remember. By day we've visited Tintagel, beaches on the north and south coasts and National Trust properties. It's all on The Valley's doorstep. This is coupled with a fab on-site restaurant, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, woodland walks on site, lovely long-serving staff and beautiful 5 star cottages. Lost track of how many times we've been here but it must be over 10.
