We are happy to provide the usual comfy towels and linens. All water is from our own spring and it's very delicious :o))))
Steppes Farm has a magical caring atmosphere that you notice the moment you arrive. It is a pleasure living here and we are delighted to share our home with you guys, who I hope will enjoy it as much as we do ! We love having visitors to stay in the beautiful Cornish countryside of this fabulous part of Britain.
At night the only noises are the hoot of owls and the snuffling of nocturnal wildlife. On clear nights (no light pollution here), the skies are inky black and dotted with a million stars, the most incredible that I have seen anywhere in the world - best viewed from the hot tub – the perfect end to a perfect day x
Bodmin Moor is now a designated International Dark Sky Landscape. The very first classified Dark Sky Park in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The modern paintings on the walls and the careful design of each room have been put together with an eye for style and comfort. Mother Goose Cottage is warm in winter with a cosy coal burner, while being cool and refreshing in summer. We are happy to provide the usual comfy towels and linens.

Tintagel is ancient, it has claim to Britain's first Saxon King, King Arthur.
There are ancient buildings, history tours, a new multi million pound walking bridge, connecting the main land to the Island where King Arthur's Castle stands. High up on the cliff is the new bronze statue of King Arthur looking over his castle, keep and lands.
There are stunning holiday cottages in Tintagel to make a perfect base to see Tintagel, Bude, Newquay and beyond, a car is highly reccommended.
The area is steeped in mystrey and magical stories, visit St Nectan's Glenn, a waterfall boasted in the UK's top 10 waterfalls. Up the coast is Bude and down the coast is Newquay and its beaches.

Loading map...Karen and Adrian provided us with beautiful accommodation. The cottage is quiet, serene, very clean and extremely well provided for. Nothing was too much trouble. The animals are a treat with chickens, horses and a cat...plus the hot tub is a real treat and spoils you. Beautiful location, completely out of the hustle and bustle and a couple of hosts who will do anything to help - and more. Would very much recommend.
Thank you so very much, you were all absolutely wonderful, a total pleasure to have AND thank you so much for looking after Goose Cottage so well during your stay.
