Trevean is just a stone's throw from the local dog friendly pub, shop, cafe and butchers. St Teath retains its charm and the cottage lies within the conservation area next to the 15th century Parish Church. The village square houses the Memorial Clocktower which has been chiming on the hour every hour since the 1920s. It is 10 minutes drive to Port Isaac and 15 minutes to the lovely beaches at Polzeath, Trebarwith and Daymer Bay; 20 minutes to Rock and the ferry across to Padstow.

Our holiday cottages in Port Isaac are right in the heart of the vibrant village community which is home to the TV series Doc Martin, featuring Martin Clunes. The narrow, winding old streets are famously beautiful, lined by whitewashed and all leading eventually to the stunning Port Isaac village harbor, which is still used by local Cornish fishermen to this day and a very photogenic spot for tourists on their rental cottage holiday in Port Isaac. In the summer season it’s possible to join sight-seeing boat trips or fishing excursions with the boats and captains that call Port Isaac home.

Set between rugged Cornish cliffs and surrounded by breathtaking Cornish coastal walks, Port Isaac is steeped in history and the old Cornish culture is still well and truly alive here. From you Port Isaac holiday cottage you’re also only a stone’s throw away from the also-stunning port villages of Port Quin and Port Gaverne, which make a fantastic day trip – Port Gaverne can even be walked to, via a gorgeous 2-mile cliff top stroll from your holiday cottage in Port Isaac.
Port Isaac is close to the Camel Trail – the cycle route connecting Padstow and Wadebridge, and is not far from the popular nearby beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath. The town centre boasts a selection of local Cornish art galleries, craft shops, eateries and 18th century fishermans homes – sites of national architectural importance and heritage.
We take pride in finding only the best holiday lettings and rental cottages for you in Port Isaac and although we can’t get you a room in Doc Martin’s house and Roscarrock Hill, you can certainly stop by for a photo.
