Your holiday cottage in Newquay will be your base in the nation’s favourite seaside resort. The surfing capital of Europe exudes a laid back vibe and is popular with surfers, travelers and holidaymakers from all over the world. Newquay meets the Atlantic coast of Cornwall with 7 miles of stunning sandy beaches and dramatic cliff-laden vistas. Everything you could ever want to find in a seaside rental cottage holiday is available in Newquay Cornwall. With more cottages to rent than most other places in Cornwall, you’re sure to find your perfect holiday lettings accommodation.

Catering to everyone from stag-dos to young families, Newquay has so much to see and do it’s hard to list it all in one page. From its 11 beaches all within walking distance of your cottage in Newquay and the pumping surf at many of them, to a golf course, stunning gardens, an incredible selection of food and nightlife for all tastes, and plenty to keep the kids entertained. After dark in Newquay is a great time to catch local and international bands and DJs perform and if it’s your thing, you can find a really wild party in Newquay town.

From your Newquay cottage you can head out for surf lessons at one of the many surf schools in town down at Fistral beach, Towan beach, or wherever else the surf is working that day. Newquay has grown a reputation for coasteering in recent years also, which is where groups of adventure seekers scale the cliffs and coves of the stunning headlands and leap from rocky heights into the deep Atlantic Ocean. Rock climbing, quad biking and abseiling are also on offer.

For a more relaxed outing or family day in the sun away from your holiday cottage, there is a beautiful, tranquil boating lake in the 26 acre Trenance gardens, complete with rowing boats, pedalos and crazy golf on the side. Then there is the Gannel estuary; vast, dune-laden beach picnic spot popular with young families and couples. Pirate’s Quest (Buccaneer Bay / Tunnels Through Time) is a great family day out with many special events on during the summer and many independent organisations run great kids events in town and on the beaches during the summer holiday weeks, including sand sculpting, treasure hunts and team games.

There are many festivals and events throughout the year, from the town-wide fancy dress party at New Year complete with epic firework display over the harbor, to the annual Boardmasters festival in summer, with hundreds of other events I between. You can find real ale, Cornish cyder, live music and entertainment in town on any night of the week and you won’t have any problem staying truly entertained if you’re planning on getting back to your Newquay holiday cottage late at night or early in the morning.

The harbor in Newquay is one of the most photographed in the country and houses a wide variety of tourist and working fishing boats. Sea fishing charters can be booked easily in many of the numerous tourist / gift shops in town and for those not eager to catch their own dinner, the harbor hosts many fine dining seafood restaurants that do all the hard work for you in spectacularly tasty style.

Newquay cottages also offer nearby attractions including Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium - great days out for the family. A visit to nearby DairyLand Farmworld provides a day's entertainment for all ages in an all-weather environment and the Cornish Cyder Farm, home of the notorious Rattler Cyder is also close by and great family fun (of course, perhaps more fun for the over 18s amongst us). The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre has the largest collection of birds of prey in the Westcountry and it is possible to fly and handle one of these magnificent birds under supervision.

Our holiday lettings and cottages in Newquay allow you to experience the most popular resort in the country from its very heart. Those looking to experience all that Newquay has to offer, but also a quiet place to escape may also want to look at cottages in Mawgan Porth or cottages in Perranporth, both nearby.

The Wildflower is a beautiful little cottage for 2 adults visiting but also very spacious. The patio at the back of the cottage leads out onto the long garden which gives a bigger illusion of space. I love that birds also visit the garden. The recliner settee is very comfortable to watch the TV in the evening once you've watched the beautiful sunset over the fields.
The cottage is brilliantly located, it's very quiet, but close enough to go out and about via car to all parts of Cornwall. The centre of Newquay only been a 15minute drive.
We would definitely recommend in fact we keep returning year upon year.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable with everything you need in a beautiful location. The beaches and shops are only 5 to 15 minutes drive depending where you want to go. Was hoping to book 2 cottages for next year but sadly fully booked for the week we wanted. We will certainly be looking at returning in the future.

This a gorgeous cottage. With everything required for a stay as a couple. It's location off the beaten track makes it soo idyllic peaceful but yet so close to all required amenities. And as for the hosts. Thee most understanding accommodating friendly hosts I have ever had the pleasure to meet and deal with. The whole family so genuine caring considerate. Beautiful people. I highly recommend staying here for whatever reason. It's perfect. 100%. Emily many many thanks. Superb. Trust me. We shall be back. Xx

We booked a week at this cottage from Friday to Friday.
Originally we had rented a one bedroom property, but were contacted a few days in advance telling us that there was a problem with the shower and we would be moved to a four bedroom cottage.
We arrived on the Friday and were stunned!!
A beautiful stone built cottage awaited us. The ground floor had two bedrooms,(double and single), two bathrooms one with shower, the other a bath. The dining area had a massive old wooden table with both bench and chairs around.
A fully fitted kitchen comprising a huge fridge freezer along with ice making facility. A Microwave, a five ring gas hob cooker, a washing machine with separate drier, kettle and Toaster, as well as a dishwasher. The kitchen was fully equipped with all that you would need to live as you would at home. We only took our coffee machine and Pods!!

Upstairs was two further bedrooms (double and single) and a very large lounge area with a super TV and two massive comfortable settees that were a dream to relax on.

We could not believe the quality of this cottage and were very happy with our stay.

One of the wettest weeks Cornwall has had did not prevent us from enjoying ourselves in what was a lovely and relaxing week, made more enjoyable by the cottage. This is a family run business and we were fortunate enough to meet one of the family the day we departed who gave us a brief rundown of the farm. It is no longer a functioning farm, but you can still walk around the pastures.

I would thoroughly recommend this place for a very relaxing break which is close to Newquay and Porth.

We will be returning.
Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay here , very peaceful and relaxing , great if you want to get away from it all . The only downside for us was sofa needs either renewing or more stuffing in the seat cushions as it was very low and soft and could do with a new mattress on the bed , two dips in it .

Very nice cottage on a farm, silent and proper. The only negative things have been a bit of musty smell and a saggy mattress in the bedroom.

My husband and I had the most fantastic stay at the Wildflower cottage. Neither of us wanted to leave... I could listen all day to the peace and quiet and the song from the Robin and twittering of birds. So, much that I often went out into the gorgeous garden to read my book later afternoon only to realise that I had only read a few pages.

The cottage is so homely and had everything we needed and more. The location is very central to get around by car and everyone who you bump into on the farm so friendly.

We are looking to go again next year. 110% recommend

Wildflower cottage is lovely!!! So peaceful and quiet with beautiful views. The kitchen is well equiped if you need/want to cook. And the bathroom is lovely with a jacuzzi bath and shower fitted over. The bed is a 4 poster, my husband slept very well saying it was comfortable, but I found it to be a bit too firm for myself.
All in all we had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Went away for a week to get away from the stress of London and I can assure you it is as far away from everything you can get. Such a peaceful view of the farms nearby. Tons of leaflets from places to go to within Cornwall and locally and board games if your bored.

When we first visited Cornwall shortly after our wedding eight years ago, we stayed in the bustling town of Newquay, in a luxurious hotel up on the headland overlooking Fistral Beach and the blue sea. Maybe this shows how travel tastes change as you get older, but this time around we wanted to stay out of the centre for a more relaxing and peaceful weekend, so when I came across this cottage which is home to a group of four adorably cute cottages, I just couldn’t resist. The Cottage, the smallest of the four, was perfect for us with one bedroom suitable for a couple, out in the countryside surrounded by the rolling green fields yet only a short drive from the main towns and beaches of North Cornwall.

Driving down the narrow winding country lanes, passing trundling tractors, horses in the fields and little bunnies hopping across our path (that I totally wanted to jump out of the car and take home with me), we finally found our way to the farm and as soon as I spotted our home for the weekend I completely fell in love. I mean look how utterly adorable…!!
Our small stone cottage was covered in blue and pink hydrangea and, after managing to find the front door through all the flora, we felt completely at home as soon as we stepped inside. The pine units, tiled floors, and wooden ceiling beams gave it a traditionally old English feel, while the flowery patterned curtains adorning every window and more china teapots than we could possibly use in one weekend made it feel lovely and homely.

I’m not much of a cook (which is coincidentally why I enjoy eating out so much) but the table for two was just too cute and romantic not to eat at.

Every single little detail, from the antique decorations and patterned furnishings to the granite fireplace in the lounge for those cold winter nights, made it the most charming and quaint place to stay.

Mr Ayla was so pleased when I told him I hadn’t planned a breakfast or brunch every morning like I usually do on our travels, so we stayed in the cottage with croissants, fruit and fresh juice and snuggled up on the sofa under the duvet because it was August so of course it was cold and wet.

I usually hate doing things like this (not snuggling – I like snuggling) as relaxing on holiday doesn’t come easily to me. My itchy feet would much rather be out exploring and seeing the sights but staying in a cottage somehow forces you to relax and I actually enjoyed doing absolutely nothing for a change. Plus who could say no to this face?!

It was so homely and comforting that having a lay in, staying in our pjs till late morning, watching rubbish on TV and playing board games, was pure bliss. In fact it was a welcome relief to just be able to sit down and not worry about missing out on anything and we even had our own pretty little garden and deck chairs for those odd occasions when the sun did decide to come out.

When we finally managed to swap our pjs for clothes and ventured outside, we went for a wander around the fields surrounding the cottage and met some of the furry locals in the barnyard.

And when we did go further afield to explore the gorgeous Cornish beaches, the perfect way to relax at the end of a day on the sunny windy beach was to head back to the cottage and soak in the plush modern jazucci bath complete with bubbles and bright lights!

I could have easily left my hectic London life behind for a more chilled pace of life in this cottage and to sleep in this cosy four poster bed every night, and I’m sure Mr Ayla agrees with me! In fact I’m pretty sure he’s thinking of retiring and living out the rest of his days in Cornwall at the ripe old age of 29!

We did occasionally step out of our peaceful little bubble in the cottage to see what else this part of Cornwall had to offer but every time we did it was wonderful to know that we had such an adorable home for the weekend waiting for us to return to.
