Our detached luxury holiday cottage, Lanerick House, is situated within the grounds of The Park. The property has three bedrooms (two en-suite king and one twin) and large comfortable living spaces, making it a perfect space for family and friends all year round.

It’s also only 6 miles to Newquay, making Mawgan Porth a great, laid back base from which to explore the bustling surf beaches and bars of Cornwall’s most famous surf resort, without having to stay with the crowds. Having access to a car here will greatly broaden the scope of the entertainment and natural scenery accessible to you.

Loading map...We stayed in cottage sleeping 6, in June 2016, and honestly could not have had a more perfect holiday. We chose the accommodation as we were holidaying with both our small children and my parents and liked the fact the cottage has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom at one end, and en-suite bathrooms throughout, which meant a degree of space and privacy for them (and us!)
The cottage was spotlessly clean and having seen the cleaners in action on nearby lodges during changeovers I can see why - they were thorough and methodical. It was also well equipped with a 'proper' sized fridge freezer and even a little laundry room with washer-dryer.
The facilities on site were also idea for toddlers/small children - nice warm indoor pool with well thought out changing and clothes storage facilities, a fabulous play yurt and another nice playground.
The location is also ideal - close enough to the beach that you can pop back for lunch so no dragging about of picnics necessary.
All in all, exactly what we were hoping for in a holiday with small children and we hope to return next year.
