Just returned from a great week at Mawgan Porth - Staying in this super cool classic Airstream caravan (the american chrome caravans!)

These are superb with a fixed double bed, good sized bathroom and large open plan kitchen/seating area with everything you should need for a great stay!

This resort is bigger than I expected with 4 airstreams, lots of nice static caravans, properties that look like wooden lodges and then a number of stone built cottages/bungalows etc.

There is a large modern building that is the main reception that is also very nice, this has a bar/restaurant that serves lunch/dinner, the indoor pool is here with a small kids pool + steam and sauna.

Outside there is an outdoor pool with sunbeds and a bar area that is being constructed.

Free Wifi but can be a struggle to connect to.

A few minutes walk to the beach and 2 places to eat/drink and the odd shop - basically there isn’t much in Mawgan Porth, but it’s lovely and a great base with a large beach.

You can do a coastal walk to Watergate bay where Jamie Oliver’s restaurant is, this is an hours walk along the coast which we enjoyed.

Padstow - 20mins drive - Beautiful place.
Watergate bay - 10mins drive - Nice beach, hotels and a few places to eat but not much there really.
Newquay - 15mins drive - Stunning beaches.
St Ives - 1 Hour drive - Beautiful place
Eden Project - 30min drive - Amazing but pricey.

We will be back to Cornwall on our next holiday - stunning place.

Negatives - Hardly any:
Airstreams are under tree’s which can blow in the wind.
A few more options on the menu.
