Beautiful, comfy and quirky cottage just a short distance from the coastpath

Miss Trimble's is a lovely one bedroom cottage (+ sofabed) in the ancient parish of Morwenstow on the most stunning North Cornwall coast roughly halfway between Bude and Clovelly

You'll never forget your trip to Miss Trimble's Cottage!

Miss Trimble's Cottage is named after the first ever resident Elizabeth Trimble who lived here in the 1850's.

It's the wing of Dene Lodge House, a beautiful Victorian "Gentleman's residence" in the parish of Morwenstow. Just a few minutes from the Coast Path it is fabulously placed for exploring this stunning area. Endless walks and gorgeous beaches are all very close;  so dogs are welcome to join you on your holidays.

Miss Trimble's is a perfect place to relax and unwind; once you've done that there are so many lovely places nearby to explore.

The cottage is fully equipped and we live on site in case there is anything we haven't thought of that you need.

You have your own kitchen and amazing bathroom with a sumptuous freestanding bath and a separate shower as well as a beautiful bedroom and living room with open fire. The living room also has a comfortable double sofa bed for extra guests.

As well as the house you are welcome to enjoy the extensive gardens and relax in the Hobbit House!

We have recently installed a wood fired hot tub which guests are welcome to use for a £20 contribution to firewood each time the tub is heated. If you want to use it please let us know and we'll get it ready as it takes a few hours to fill and heat up!

Here's a few recent comments from our guest book:
"What a wonderful find; romantic, luxurious and best bathroom I've ever stayed in"
"Cottage was perfect - very snug and cosy. The location is beautiful."
"What a gorgeous place, so cosy and welcoming."
"It's so hard to leave this lovely cottage."

Bigger than the photographs which didn’t do the property justice. The hosts were welcoming and thoughtful. They had such a well equipped cottage and I felt very safe as the cottage was spotlessly clean. Very good communication with the owner who went out of their way to help with my enquiries and questions. Very comfortable indeed.

A lovely cottage, probably not suitable for people with mobility problems due to narrow stair case. Very hospitable hosts and although the cottage does not have its own garden there is gardens that you can access and use. Second year that we have visited and felt that the cottage furnishings are now 'ok'

Fantastic welcome from Sue and Crispin, nothing is too much trouble. Loved the garden and the surprises you find while walking through it. Miss Trimble’s cottage is clean and comfortable, everything you need for a lovely break away. There’s plenty of parking and a local village shop just opened across the road for all your supplies.
We’ll definitely return as this is a great base to see this part of the country

Beautiful cottage has everything you need very well equipped. The grounds were lovely to walk in with our 3 dogs. The owners Crispin and Sue were on hand with anything you needed and are a lovely couple. There are lots of beautiful places to visit and dog friendly beaches. We had a fantastic holiday and will be a place we will revisit in the future.
