Beautiful shepherd's hut; amazing views and close to the coast path. Hidden away in a beautiful secluded garden, a perfect place for a getaway.

Pippins is a gorgeous shepherd's hut in a romantic and magical location. With it's own bathroom, kitchen and wood-fired hot tub you have everything you need for an amazing break

In a quiet corner of a beautiful 1.5 acre garden with stunning views over the wildlife pond and nearby valley is our lovely shepherd's hut - Pippins.  Appropriately named as it sits on the edge of a little orchard although there is actually a bit of a hobbit theme going on as you will also find an amazing hobbit house constructed of straw bales and a reciprocal roof where guests can sit and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day if you want a change of scene.

The shepherd's hut has everything you will need for a relaxing and memorable stay.  It has it's own bathroom with shower and compost loo (don't worry it's fine!).  A kitchen area with induction hob and microwave in case you decide not to pop along to The Bush, our nearby hostelry,  for supper just a short distance away. There’s also a BBQ for al fresco dining or relax and keep warm by the fire pit.

Just a few yards from your hut is your own wood-burning hot tub.  Tell us when you plan to arrive and we'll make sure it's warmed up and ready for you to sit back and relax; if the sky is clear you will have a stunning view of the stars.

There's a wood burner in case it's a bit chilly and a cosy double bed with a large window at the bottom so you can enjoy the amazing views without even getting out of bed!

We supply enough wood to get the hot tub up to the right temperature and to light the wood burner in the hut should you wish. Additional uses of the hot tub are charged at £20 and extra logs are available to buy on site should you need them.

You may well just want to stay and relax but if you do venture out you will find the coast path just 5 minutes away at the end of the road and lots of lovely beaches to enjoy.  Sandymouth is just a 10 minute drive away.

There are pubs nearby as well as farm shops and tea rooms aplenty.  (Breakfast at the Atlantic Way Farm Shop is awesome!)

Pippins is a wonderful place to relax in comfort at a stunning location in beautiful countryside.  If you want to come with friends we can also offer Baggins shepherd’s hut nearby.  We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Wonderful, hidden gem in a romantic space with great variety of plant life. Extremely peaceful location, with good access to stunning coastline spots by car, and the hot tub is a real bonus! Crispin and Sue are friendly, helpful and informative hosts.

Lovely countryside setting and great facilities - the hot tub was amazing and the shepherd's hut spotless and furnished beautifully well. Hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and gave us a cream tea, which was delicious, scones still warm. Only trouble we had was trying to get the (very stylish) ceramic hob to work - it was working but we couldn't figure it out properly. It'd be nice to have a bit more screening between the huts, as could watch our neighbours bbqing from the hot tub. The hosts provided a very useful handbook to the hut & area and we had a great meal at a nearby pub. We had a wonderful weekend there and would absolutely recommend it.
