Wadebridge is one of North Cornwall's main market towns and is a gateway to the Camel Trail, an 18 mile largely traffic free and virtually level cycle way which is also used by walkers and horse-riders to explore the spectacular countryside. Bodmin Moor is only 15 miles away and the village of Rock is close by with access to many water sports and the last resting place of Sir John Betjemen, St Enodoc Church.
The Royal Cornwall Show takes place at Wadebridge each year in June and there is a varied local programme of events throughout the year. Many of the side streets in Wadebridge offer the opportunity of shopping for unusual and interesting gifts and you will find many restaurants, cafes and pubs in the town offering a variety of food and drink.
