Barn Owl Cottage

Barn Owl Cottage is the largest one of the four. It has a porch, with antique coat rack and hall table, plenty of space for outdoor shoes and boots! French door leads into the beautiful, large dining room. This has double aspect windows, including French doors to the front of the property.

Fabulous 19th Century Refectory Table, settle and chairs, comfortably seating 8 people. Lovely old Chiffonier Dresser.

Through to kitchen, well equipped for 8, door leading out to garden, barbecue, table/benches and chairs. Lovely views over the valley.Door from kitchen leads to fully equipped Shower Room and a further bathroom, which has bath, toilet and wash hand basin. A very pretty room, with dual aspect windows over the gardens.

Leading off the dining room is Bedroom 1, which has an antique double brass bed stead, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wash hand basin, Portable TV.

Next door to this is bedroom 2, with a single 3ft. four poster bed stead and another single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wash hand basin.

Open stairs from the dining room lead up to a lovely, spacious lounge with high, vaulted ceiling with original old beams.

This is a lovely large room with leather suite and chairs, big bookcase with plenty to read and board games. A New 42” Plasma screen TV with Freeview, DVD player and video recorder. Quiet corner with writing desk. French door with outside steps leading down to the garden. Door leads off to Bedroom 3, with double four poster bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wash hand basin, Portable TV.

Bedroom 4 has twin 3ft antique brass bed steads, wardrobe and dressing table. A cot will fit in either twin room if only 1 bed is being used. It is a bit of a squeeze - if you do not mind, we are happy to put one in!

A short 5 minute drive to Porth Beach and a further 5 minutes on to Watergate Bay. Newquay town centre is about 3 miles away.

We regret we do not take pets and a light smoker only, please, as we are almost non smoking now!
