Apple Tree Barn is a conversion of an old farm building, finished May 2007 in the lovely Porth Valley. Next door to which is the mirror image barn conversion called Tully's Way, which is availble for July and August each summer. They are situated just over a mile from Porth Beach. Only 5 minutes drive from the famous Watergate Bay.
They are situated on the Hoskin family farm, in the hamlet of Tregustick, in the former orchard.They are beautiful stone built, 2 storey, split level barns, with wonderful large open plan lounge, dining area and ‘up to the minute’ kitchen.
These barns do not accept pets and are No Smoking.
Apple Tree Barn has a side driveway leading down to a parking area and entrance porch at the rear of the barn. For Tully's Way, you have to pass the barns,go past the stables take the next left and drive into the rear of the property.
Enter both properties through a porch into a large hallway, with stairs up to 2nd floor.
Downstairs there is Bedroom 1, a large king size bedroom, with en suite facilities. Bedroom 2 is another double room and Bedroom 3 is a twin room. There is a 2nd family bathroom. Laundry room, with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Upstairs leads into the large, beautiful open plan area. Lounge, with lovely leather suite, large TV and wood burner stove, kitchen, with dishwasher and dining room. Patio doors lead to the front garden onto lovely decking, which is at ground floor level, this side of the barns. Lovely sunny aspect. Garden furniture and barbecue per property.
Tregustick is only a short, one mile walk or cycle ride to Whipsiderry Beach & the coast road. A further 200 yards down the hill to Porth Beach. If you turn right at Whipsiderry, it is less than a mile to Watergate Bay, with its Extreme Academy, wonderful 15 Cornwall Restaurant, co owned by Jamie Oliver. Beach café, lovely pub with good food, called The Phoenix, 2 big Car Parks.
There is a walk from the hamlet of Tregustick, through Trebelsue Farm to reach Watergate Bay. It is just over one mile approx.
The Trevelgue Caravan Park bus runs regularly to and from Newquay and stops about 20 yards down the lane, all day and even late at night.
These are lovely barns for 2 to 6 people, plus a cot and high chair can be provided free of charge. All the beds you require for your booking will be made up for you. 2 tea towels and bath mats are also provided. Towel hire is available, £2.50 per person.
