1. Information you provide

In order to use some of the services provided on our Web site you may be asked to submit personal information about yourself (such as your name, address, email address etc) when booking your holiday cottage or accommodation.

2. Information we collect

Select Cornwall record data on user behaviour so that we can maintain, protect and enhance our Web site and monitor the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This shared usage data does not identify you individually and is maintained in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Payment security

We provide an on-line booking service that allows you to pay for your holiday cottage or accommodation by submitting your credit or debit card details. We are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security.

Whenever we ask for credit card details these are encrypted before transmission. An Extended Validation (EV) Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate from Verisign shows that the transaction is encrypted and that Select Cornwall have been authenticated according to the most rigorous industry standard.

Select Cornwall do not store or process credit card details on any of our systems; instead we use Sage Pay, a secure online payment gateway to process these payments on our behalf. Sage Pay (formerly known as Protx) have achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that card details remain secure throughout the transaction process.
