St. Ives

St. Ives is famous for it's clear air and beaches and has been a place of inspiration for many artists and sculptors since the 1920's largely due to the quality of light and outstanding scenery. Visit the Tate St. Ives or surf off Porthmeor beach, browse around the art galleries and craft shops or eat at one of the many restaurants in the town – there is something for everyone to enjoy in St. Ives.

Take time to explore the narrow cobbled streets and find unusual cottages and homes hidden away and only accessible on foot or take a boat trip to Seal Island catching sight of the Godrevy Lighthouse, said to be the inspiration for Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse'. Whatever your choice of holiday accommodation, you can choose from a variety of hand-picked holiday cottages in St. Ives or a selection of self-catering accommodation, apartments and caravans.

West Cornwall

At the far end of Cornwall lies a magical peninsula where you will find the tiny village of Mousehole with it's narrow winding streets and picturesque cottages and the awe-inspiring St Michael's Mount at Marazion. Enjoy the clear light and landscape of St Ives and appreciate modern art exhibited at the Tate and in the local galleries or escape via the rugged remains of Cornwall's mining heritage driving the breathtaking roller-coaster road leading to St Just and Land's End.
The village of Lamorna is hidden in a wooded valley and from here the coastal path affords beautiful views of the timeless rugged coastline once frequented by smugglers. If stretching out on a sandy beach feels like the right solution to the stress of everyday life, Gwithian Towans has three miles of golden sand sweeping around the bay at Hayle or head over to nearby Praa Sands with it's wide, sandy,south-facing beach.
